This club targets the First Lego League Competition in the beginning of December. In addition to working as a team to design, build, and program the Lego Robotics for the competition, the students will practice the core value of Robotics League, and do research on how to resolve the problems and reach the goal.
This is a fast-paced competition club, and needs commitment not only during club hours, but outside too. There will be take home assignments etc. If you are not familiar with FLL, please check out the various youtube channels and info. If you don't have the bandwidth for the same, the spring exploratory club may be a better fit

Location: Tyee Room 1304
Club chairs and coaches will be there to introduce club activities and logistics. Club registration will be open after the Parent Information Night.
Early registration for returning club members from last year ends on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11:59pm PDT. Emails have already been sent out. Please check your email or contact club chair if you have any questions.
For new members:
Registration in the club is a 2-step process, we will have a limited number of slots for kids to apply and then priority will be given to those students whose parents can volunteer in the club on a first come, first serve basis. After reviewing, in the next few days, we will send the acceptance email with the payment link to this subset of students only. 9/17 All admissions completed and spots filled. We will open up registration in Spring for introductory sessions. Information will be posted via TyeeTimes in the spring time.
