7:00p PTSA BOD Meeting
| 4:00p Field Day
|
Join us for an exciting Field Day on Friday, June 9 (New Date), from 3:30pm to 4:45pm at Tyee, exclusively for 7th graders. To ensure smooth team organization, students must register in advance by June 8. The event will feature various activities, including a relay race, jump rope, football throw, three-legged race, obstacle course, and water balloon toss. Teams will rotate through these events.
At 4:15pm, we will have food trucks in the courtyard, and we extend a warm invitation to families to join us, order from the food trucks, mingle with their kids' friends and their families, and celebrate the end of 7th grade together. Students whose parents are not joining them can ride the activity bus home at 4:45pm.
We are in need of enthusiastic adult volunteers/chaperones to manage teams and coordinate the events. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up using this link: https://www.
To confirm participation, students will receive wristbands during 2nd and 3rd lunch on June 2nd. The color of the wristband will indicate whether they can go home independently after the event (including riding the activity bus) or if they need to be picked up by their families. We encourage students to wear comfortable attire, such as t-shirts, shorts or athletic pants, and tennis shoes, allowing them to freely engage in the activities throughout the day.
When: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm, Friday June 16
Where: Tyee commons & gym
Admission Ticket: $30/student. Tyee 8th graders only. Scholarship is available. Apply through school counselors.

Congratulations! We had an amazing and successful show! We hope everyone had a fantastic time! We are incredibly proud of our talented cast. They showed great persistence and cooperation, especially during the last few days when we faced scorching hot weather without air conditioning. Alongside their hard work, your support has played a crucial role in their achievements. Without your help, Annie would not have been possible! We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed from the beginning to the end. As you can see, numerous roles were involved, and many parents took on multiple responsibilities. YOU ARE ALL AWESOME!!! If we inadvertently missed your name, please accept our sincere apologies. Know that our appreciation cannot be adequately expressed in words.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our PTSA BOD team. They have been unwavering in their support throughout this entire process. Without them, we would not have come this far!
The Tyee PTSA organized an exceptional Staff Appreciation Week, filled with memorable activities. The week commenced with Flower Day on May 8, followed by Superhero Snack Day on May 9, Coffee is on Me Day on May 10, an International Food Banquet on May 11, and concluded with Tote Bag Day on May 12. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing Tyee staff for their invaluable contributions to our children and community. Your dedication is greatly appreciated.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Hongyan Yang and Dandan Jiang, the staff appreciation chairs, for hosting this remarkable event. We are also immensely grateful to the parent volunteers who generously contributed their time and efforts to prepare delectable food and assist with setup and cleanup. Without their invaluable assistance, this event would not have been possible.
Our school library is currently seeking some general library helper to assist with various tasks such as shelving books and other projects. We welcome any volunteers who are interested in helping out! Please note that all adult volunteers in the district must complete a background check through Sterling Volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up using the link provided below.Thank you in advance for your support.
