If possible - please walk, bike, or ride the bus to school. Vehicle and Bus traffic will be heavy the first week as new families learn routines.
The school entrance will open at 8:00am. Access is restricted to Students and Staff only. Parents - please wave goodbye at the bus stop or parking loop as you drive off! We have very minimal parking.
Please follow staff directions in our lots. Our priority is safety first, and efficiency second.
If you are choosing to drive your student to school, please do not stop your car and exit to take photos, we need to safely and efficiently keep hundreds of cars moving.
Traffic along Newport Way and Allen Road will be very backed up during peak driving times (8:10-8:30)
Please do not drive in the bus lane.
We are not accepting walk-in appointments or meeting requests on September 5. Our Registrar and Office Staff are incredibly busy helping new students navigate their way to classes.
First period begins at 8:30. School Staff will be inside to help students find their classes.
Lunches:
All students will receive a schoolwide lesson on lunchtime procedures during their 3rd period class.
All 6th graders take 1st lunch
7th & 8th graders will take either 2nd or 3rd lunch. This is dependent upon who their 5th period teacher is. A lunch schedule will be shared with students the first day of school after we've finalized all the roster seat counts.
Dismissal/Pick-Up:
Afternoon traffic is significantly more congested than morning. While we dismiss at 3:20, it is advisable to plan to arrive 15-20 minutes after to avoid the first rush and bus traffic. School staff will be out front to supervise students.

7th period dismisses at 3:20pm. Staff will be out front to help students locate their buses, and we will have a list of bus routes available to view.
Please follow staff directions in our lots. Our priority is safety first, and efficiency second. When entering our parking lot, please pull all the way through the traffic loop and park in an empty stall. Once all stalls are full, cars may park along the pick-up loop. Once our lot is full, you will need to drive around or legally park in the neighborhood and wait for traffic to clear out.

Tutorial & Activities begin Monday, September 18th. So does the 4:50pm Activity Bus.
