"Annie" Student Musical - Cast Audition Sign-ups

When: November 19, 21, 22, 25, and 26 during lunch

Where: At the “Jubilee Reach/PTSA” window in the lunchroom

Required: To reserve an audition spot, you need THREE things:

1. A completed Audition Form
2. A completed Parent & Student Agreement Form with both parent & student signatures
3. An $85 (non-refundable) check made out to Tyee PTSA (see Fee below for what this includes)

Cast Auditions

When: December 4, 2-3:00 pm, December 5, 3:05-5 pm and December 9 from 3:05-6:00 pm 

Where: Tyee choir room

Preparation: Total audition time is 5 minutes.

• Be prepared to sing a short (one minute or less) selection from a song. A song from another musical is a great option. You will be singing your song without accompaniment (no music).  Choose a song that you are comfortable singing and that shows us your vocal range.  If you have no idea what to sing, you may sing “Happy Birthday.”  The Directors will evaluate your vocal range as well as your projection.
• Be prepared to read one of the sides at http://tyeeptsa.org/Docs/2020%20Musical. Sides are short scenes from the script used for dialogue auditions. You will read one character and a member of the production team will read the other character(s).  While you are not expected to memorize the lines in the side, you should read with expression – this is your acting audition!  There is not a side for every part in the play.  Choose the side that you think best shows your acting ability and then mark down which characters you are most interested in on the audition form.
